Participants of the International Donor Conference on Humanitarian Demining in Ukraine pledged almost 500 million euros ($530 million) to Kyiv in demining assistance, the Croatian news agency HINA reported on Oct. 11, citing Croatia's Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic.
Hungary wants to cut EU funding to Ukraine in half. The proposal adds weight to fears that international support for Ukraine could be waning following U.S. lawmakers' decision to remove aid for Ukraine from a government spending bill passed on Sept. 30.

Netherlands announces new $100 million package to support Ukraine. The Netherlands is allocating 102 million euros ($108 million) to support investments, recovery, and reforms in Ukraine, the Dutch Foreign Trade and Development Ministry announced on Oct. 6.
Belgium will create a €1.7B fund from revenues obtained through frozen Russian assets. As reported by the Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander De Croo, the proceeds from taxes on income from frozen Russian assets will be credited to the fund. "Here in Belgium, we have taxation on the income from these frozen assets. Last year, it became obvious to us that the income taxes on these assets should be 100% aimed at helping the Ukrainian people. We did it last year and will do it this year," the prime minister noted.
