The largest chicken exporter in Ukraine has received a $250M loan from the DFC. The US International Development Finance Corporation granted the Ukrainian agricultural holding MHP a loan to refinance existing debt, support the company's current operations, and reimburse war-related expenses. The DFC noted that the loan will also help the company modernize facilities, including increased storage capacity, the installation of a backup power supply, and developing export potential by strengthening its ability to transport goods. Over the past year, the DFC concluded new deals in Ukraine worth $425M in various sectors and across all areas of its activity, including equity investments, political risk insurance, debt financing, and technical assistance. The DFC also insured political risks for the Superhumans Reconstructive Surgery Center in Lviv. In cooperation with USAID, a guarantee was provided for new small and medium-sized business credit portfolios for Lviv Bank ($20M) and Raiffeisen Bank ($40M), as well as a guarantee of $50M for the IFC Global Trade Financing Program in Ukraine.

The largest Ukrainian feed producer is investing €60M in a new factory in Lithuania. Animal feed manufacturer Kormotech plans to reach $150M in sales in 2023 and will strive to be among the 50 largest feed manufacturers in the world, company owner Rostyslav Vovk said for Forbes. He said the share of exports in the company's sales in 2022 was 23%. In the current year, this mark reached 28% in the second quarter, and by the end of the year, 30% of Kormotech's turnover will come from export markets. At the same time, in 2023-2024 Kormotech will implement several investment projects in Ukraine and Lithuania, where its production facilities are concentrated. In the second quarter, the company completed a 25% expansion of its factory in Lithuania. At the end of 2023, Kormotech will start constructing a new factory in Lithuania, in which it will invest more than €60M. The company is also developing a strategy for 2024-2028 and plans to earn approximately $500,000M in 2028.

     The largest Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar, after purchasing a
 controlling stake in Helsi (Helsi Ukraine LLC) in August 2022, invested $3
 million in the development of the company, said the president of Kyivstar,
 Oleksandr Komarov, at the Kyiv International Economic Forum.
 Amsterdam-based VEON Holding telecoms company was and is the sole
 owner of leading Ukrainian telecoms company Kyivstar, the company
 said in a statement on October 13.
 VEON is listed on the NASDAQ and Euronext Amsterdam exchanges and
 reinterred its ownership of Kyivstar following recent reports that its Kyivstar
