Padua Presented “Christmas Carol” Radio Play
Padua Franciscan Performing Arts presented its first-ever live radio play on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14. We kicked off the Thanksgiving and Christmas For Others seasons with a beloved classic, A Christmas Carol — radio play adaptation by Tony Palermo.
Students worked hard on their vocal performances as key characters in Dickens’s Christmas classic. In addition, our talented crew learned the ins-and-outs of professional Foley artistry and were on-hand performing live sound effects, in addition to operating the lighting, sound, and projection elements of our production. Members of Padua’s Theater program were excited to be
able to offer opportunities for performance, community, and arts even in these challenging and difficult times.
Two teams of casts (Team “Charles” and Team “Dickens”) performed Friday and Saturday evening respectively. Parents and family were able to reserve limited live seating, but everyone was able to enjoy the free show from the comfort of their own home by visiting paduafranciscan.com.
