4th Annual Scholarship Breakfast Celebrates Students’ Achievement on the HSPT
All eighth-grade students that apply to Padua are required to take the High School Placement Test. Each year Padua recognizes the students that score in the top percentiles by awarding
them a renewable Placement Test scholarship ranging from $1,000–$6,000 based on their results. On December 5, 2020 we celebrated these students and welcomed their families to our 4th Annual Scholarship Breakfast. Padua seniors Austin Pacula, Olivia Gutowski, and Olivia Stefka spoke to the students and families about their experiences at Padua and how Padua has prepared them for college and beyond. Welcome Bruin Class of 2025!
Padua is excited to welcome the Class of 2025! Here are some notable highlights of this incoming class:
• 200 total students accepted
• 133 students were accepted with the renewable Academic Scholarship valued at $1,000
• 91 of our incoming freshmen are legacy students (their mother, father or sibling graduated from Padua)
• While 62 of these students have sibling connections, 2 claim both parents as Padua alumni
• 14 have a father alumnus, 18 students have a mother alumna, and 2 have a grandparent alumnus
• The Class of 2025 comes to Padua from 48 different Catholic and non-Catholic schools
• The Class of 2025 comes to Padua from 26 different cities
