Maron Cury ’73 broke the world record for deadlifts in the over 65 age division and 181 lb. division with a 501 lb. deadlift.

Michael Leman ’89 was appointed Chief of Hospital-based Services at St. Vincent’s Southside Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition
to being the Chief of Pathology at St. Vincent’s Clay County Hospital, Michael is a partner at St. Vincent’s Pathology Associates.

  Brian Miluk ’74 received the National Federation Coaches Association of the Year Award at the 73rd annual state wrestling tournament in February 2021 for his outstanding service and unselfish devotion to interscholastic activities.
Colleen (Moran) Gilger ’90 was named Economic Development Professional of the Year by The Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA) in October 2020.

Joseph Kulikowski ’95 is in his fifth year as the trombonist in the Northeast Ohio rock/horn-band, Funkology. Playing a variety of music from Motown to today’s hits, Funkology
has performed at many local venues including The Music Box Supper
Club, Cleveland Twilight at the Zoo, Fox8 Morning Show, and the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Matthew Schwonek ’81 was appointed Chairman of the Department of International Security of Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell AFB, AL in October 2020. He has taught in professional military education for 24 years.

Joe Salzgeber ’87, County Recorder was selected as Medina Municipal Court Clerk in January 2021.
Barbara (Kuchar) Walsh ’87 received a Good Neighbor Award at State Farm in Enterprise Technology. She produced a Customer Experience Workbook— a field guide to help associates across the organization think differently, empathize with customers, and design solutions that focus on the end-to-end customer experience.
