Padua Franciscan High School believes the cost of a Franciscan education should not deter any family. Padua awards more than $1.8 million in scholarship and financial assistance yearly,
benefiting approximately 74% of the student body.
2022-2023 tuition: $13,550 (includes all academic fees & Chromebook)
In the past, tuition has increased 3% each year.
Padua Franciscan High School Endowment
This award is granted according to financial need. To be eligible for consideration, the FACTS Financial Application must be completed online each year by November 15.
St. Francis Scholarship: $1,000-$3,000
This scholarship is designed to assist applicants who could not otherwise afford a Catholic education. Families must complete the FACTS Financial Aid application and a St. Francis Scholarship application by November 15 to be considered.
Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA)
The Diocese of Cleveland awards tuition assistance to high school and elementary school students. Families must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Application form. Notification occurs in May or early June.
Academic Scholarship: $1,000
Renewable academic scholarship for incoming freshmen who score a CSQ of 100 or higher on the HSPT test and maintain an “A” average in core subjects during 7th and 8th grade. (Students must maintain a 3.3 G.P.A. at Padua to renew it annually.)
Placement Test Scholarship
The top scorers on Padua’s Placement Test earn $1,000-$6,000 renewable scholarships. (Student must maintain a 3.3 GPA at Padua to renew it annually.)
Padua Community Scholarship: $1,000-$6,000
In response to the recent changes to the EdChoice State Scholarship Program, this need-based scholarship was created to provide funds to new, incoming students (beginning with the Class of 2026) in Parma, Parma Heights or Seven Hills who could not afford a Catholic education without assistance. Recipients of the Padua Community Scholarship may be awarded up to $6,000, renewable each year, toward Padua Franciscan tuition. There are a limited number of scholarships available. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must complete the FACTS Financial Aid Application along with the Padua Community Scholarship Application by November 15.
