Bruins Re-imagine Art History
Students in Ms. Stefanie Cook’s art classes worked on “Re-imagined Art History” projects. Students recreated famous paintings and works of art, using themselves and their family as subjects. The project was inspired by an art enthusiast on Instagram. This recreation practice has become a viral trend during the COVID-19 pandemic, inspiring a few students to include toilet paper and soap to their recreations. Many students went above and beyond to capture the moment.
Elementary
Art Show 2020
Congratulations to all the students who participated in our annual Elementary Art Show on Sunday, January 12, 2020. Twenty local schools submitted entries for students in grades K through 8. Three students in each grade level received awards (for first, second and third place). The 7th and 8th grade winners received tuition vouchers for $250, $150 and $100.
