 Baccalaureate Mass 2020
Our seniors and their parents gathered for Baccalaureate Mass at St. Anthony’s Church on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Fr. Bob Stec ’79 celebrated Mass with Dcn. Matt Harley assisting. During his homily, Fr. Bob reminded the Class of 2020 that because of the pandemic it is a different world, and they are called to go and be different in the world.
We pray for the Class of 2020. Bless their lives from this day on with goodness and love. Help them to stay true to their dreams, to use their gifts wisely, and to walk into the future with faith, hope, and great love.
Commencement 2020
Padua celebrated its Class of 2020 with a memorable drive-in graduation ceremony in St. Anthony’s Church parking
lot on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Seniors sat six feet apart, while their families sat in their cars and tuned in to a designated radio station to hear the audio. They watched the commencement address by Valedictorian Angela Falconi ‘20, along with the rest of the event, on a large LCD screen. Hundreds more family and friends watched the livestream on Padua’s YouTube channel as each senior walked across a stage to accept his or her diploma. Padua alumnus Mike Pinzone ‘98 of North Coast Aerial Images captured the historic event with a drone. Class of 2020, we hope you’re Happy, Healthy, Holy and Highly Prepared for your next chapter!
