For years, we have had a pre-show tradition that includes the entire cast reciting, “Our talents are a gift from God and what we do with those talents is our gift back to God. Remember that theatre is magic and magic is theatre and blessed are we who create that magic.”
I sincerely believe that Padua theatre has been blessed by many students and adults who have shared their time, talent and energy to build such a remarkable program. I am grateful to be a part of the Fine Arts at Padua,” said Plasterer.
“The life skills that students acquired while participating in the Padua Theatre Program are invaluable. Beyond the theatre-oriented tasks that are learned when participating in a musical, students also learn communication skills, dedication, perseverance, respect for self and others, and an appreciation for the arts. I am thankful for the oppor- tunity I had to learn these skills and am certain that the person I am today is directly influenced by my time in the Theatre Program at Padua Franciscan High School.”
