Five students, Mrs. Jo-Anne and Mr. Ken Hipkins spent seven days traveling central and southern Spain. They traveled from the capital city of Madrid to the medieval town of Toledo and Córdoba and continued south to Sevilla and Granada.
Visiting the main squares, the Royal Palace, mosques, churches, the site of the first World’s Fair, walled fortresses, the Mediter- ranean coast, experiencing local foods, dances and Holy Week traditions were among the highlights. The next opportunity to travel to Spain will be in the spring of 2020.
