One Padua-One Goal-One Day
The second annual Bruins Big Give broke the record on Thursday, October 4, 2018 with a total of $197,796 raised! Bruins Big Give focused on bringing the Padua community together as ONE PADUA with ONE GOAL on this ONE DAY.
Gifts made from July 1 through October 4 all counted toward the success of Bruins Big Give, in support of the Franciscan Fund. The Franciscan Fund provides tuition assistance for qualified students and allows Padua to remain a premier, co-educational Catholic school.
The response from the students, as well as faculty, staff, parents, friends and alumni is a true indication of how the Padua family came together to change many lives.
Our annual Mass celebrating the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi was a highlight of the day where President Fr. Allan DaCorte, ofm, spoke of the teachings of St. Francis of Assisi, “It is in giving that we receive.” Excitement continued throughout the day as the giving totals and donor participation numbers increased.

Gifts to the Franciscan Fund are welcomed through the end of the fiscal year, June 30, 2019. Thank you to all who came together and made Bruins Big Give a success!
