Fine Arts NEWS Fall Musical 2021: Little Women
Padua was proud to present our Fall Musical Production, Little Women, on November 5–7, 2021.
About the Show
Based on Louisa May Alcott’s 1868–1869 semi-autobiographical novel, our show focused on the four March sisters and their cherished mother, Marmee, at home in Concord, Massachusetts, while their father was away serving in the Union Army during the Civil War. The audience went on an adventure of passion, drive, and determination as they watched Jo March realize her dream of becoming an accomplished author in a world unaccustomed to women having such dreams.
Elementary Art & Literary Show 2022
Congratulations to all of the students who participated in Padua’s Elementary Art & Literary Show on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Nineteen local schools submitted over 180 entries for students in grades K through 8. The top literary submissions received awards and will be featured in Horizon, Padua’s Art and Literary Magazine. Three art submissions in each grade level received awards and each school received an honorable mention. The 7th and 8th grade artwork winners received tuition vouchers for $250, $150 and $100.
