Football For All
In 2010 the FAI Football Football For For All
programme established a a a a a network of Football Football For For All
Clubs through existing community clubs across Ireland As many of you may be aware MU AFC have an active FFA section that caters for people with a a a a a a a a a disability who who want to to play football who who otherwise may struggle to to excel in the the competitive environment of underage football or or who need additional support We currently have approximately 20 players between the age of 10 and and 22 (male and and female) who regularly play football We train each Sunday between 10:30 and 12:00 During the the Spring we we train train at at Gannon Park and in in in in in in in the the Winter we we train train inside at at the newly opened Liam Rogers Community Centre in in Kinsealy Eight of our athletes attended FAI FFA Leinster trials and 4 players were selected to represent the Leinster Junior squad for a a a a a series of matches against Munster Through the FFA programme it it it is terrific to to see all athletes with an equal opportunity to to be part of a a a a a a a a club receive regular training and and participate in in in competition and and reach their full potential
