THE DAY BEFORE
You can assist the bride on the day before the wedding by collecting any hired items. You may also be needed
to help set up the reception room the night before, if the venue allows for this. If there are any last minute beauty appointments for the bride, you may be asked to accompany her, such as mani- cures and pedicures.
It may be a good planning decision to stay over at the bride’s house the night before, to keep her in good spirits and make sure all is set for the day ahead. Perhaps bring a feel good wedding themed movie along (or two).
ON THE WEDDING DAY
The wedding day will be the day you are needed to be at your best. Ensure details like the delivery of the owers is on schedule, and hand out everyone’s bouquet.
The bride will need your help getting ready, she may need assistance with her hair and makeup, getting into her wedding dress or providing her with support for her nerves and reassurance. It may be a nerve wrecking time for the bride, but you should ensure that she has a good breakfast (even a small one) as she will need her energy.
