Worcester County, 4767 Snow Hill Road, Snow Hill, MD 21863 Senior Information and Assistance is a statewide program offering convenient access to information on services and benefits for older persons. This includes, but is not limited to, information on transportation, income and financial aid, senior citizens centers and clubs, daily meals (congregate or home delivered), pharmacy assistance, housing, volunteer opportunities, and more!
Senior Centers
Enhance a healthy lifestyle at your local Senior Center. The Worcester County Senior Centers are open to anyone 60+ years. They offer lunch for a donation and an opportunity to meet new friends and engage in other social or health related programs. Some also offer home delivered meals.
They offer nutrition education, physical activity, and free and low-cost health screenings and wellness seminars. Some also provide individual guidance and discuss specific health concerns and nutritionists may assist with a personal nutrition plan. Flu or pneumonia shots are often given during the fall months to keep seniors well. Disease prevention and health education seminars are offered throughout the year.
