In spring 2010, the State Legislature passed & the Governor signed
a new state law to offer recycling service to every home & business in Delaware.
Recycling bins & a regular recycling collection will be provided to all homes, businesses, & apartments. The goal is to reduce the amount of trash that goes into expensive landfills, thus reducing the cost to the people of Delaware & reducing pollution as well.
For more information on this program & to find out “What’s recyclable in Delaware?” go to: recycling.delaware.gov or call 302-739-9403.

For now, recycling drop-off centers across the state will remain in place, though as curbside recycling increases, the state’s approximately 16 drop-off sites will be evaluated for participation & removed from service as usage drops.
