The Utah Summer Games is an Olympic-style sports festival for athletes of all ages and abilities open to residents of the state of Utah. For the past 31 years, the Utah Summer Games has conducted this event in Cedar City, Utah with an average total of 9,600 participants, 50,000 spectators, and 1,000 volunteers in attendance each year. Add all that together and you have one of the premier sporting events in Utah!
Sporting Events - Events range from Archery to Wrestling, Table Tennis to Soccer, and Equestrian to Karate. There is literally something for everyone. Thirty different sporting events include divisions for all ages and skill levels, making the Utah Summer Games easy for everyone to have a shot at a gold medal!
Soccer Tournament - The Utah Summer Games soccer tourna- ment has become the largest single tournament in the State.
Volunteers - It would be impossible for the Utah Summer Games to be a success without the countless hours that are donated by volunteers every year. If you would like to be part of the action download a volunteer form and send it in today.

Over 11,000 runners register annually for a chance to run the scenic St. George Marathon! The Marathon began in 1977 with only 42 participants, and has grown to now be the largest single-day event in southern Utah. The community embraces the Marathon with more than 1,700 volunteers annually help- ing with the race.

The race starts with a 2.4-mile swim through Sand Hollow Reservoir, followed by a 112-mile ride that traverses much of the county, and finishes with a 26.2-mile run through Red Cliffs Desert Reserve and downtown St. George. The Ford Ironman St. George will be a qualifier for the Ironman World Championship.
