Parowan Gap is a national historic site of ancient Native American rock art. Pick up a free Parowan Gap Petroglyphs brochure at the Iron County or Parowan Visitor Centers.
8 Southern Utah University Sculpture & Art Stroll
Campus walks are beautifully landscaped with fountains, ponds, and lush vegetation. Beautiful bronze statues from Shakespeare characters to icons from local and global history are situated along the pathways. For more information visit tbirdnation.suu.edu/art-stroll.

10 Wood’s Ranch Recreation Park and Kids Pond
Open May through September. Two pavilions are available by reservation for groups. Reservation forms can be found at the Iron County Visitor Center, 581 North Main Street or online at www. ironcounty.net under Outdoor Recreation. It’s a nice area for picnics, volleyball, and hiking, also the location of the Virgin River Rim Trailhead. The Kids Pond is available to kids 12 and under for free fishing (must be accompanied by an adult with a valid Utah fishing license). Wood’s Ranch Recreation Area is 12-miles east of Cedar City on Highway 14.

City’s Red Hill and Coal Creek, two pavilions, a volleyball court, and a playground. The walking trail weaves its way into Cedar Canyon for 3.5-miles and is perfect for roller-blades, bikes, and strollers.
2 Cedar City’s Veterans Park
This beautiful park pays tribute to the soldiers
from Cedar City and their stories. Memorials are constructed for the World War I, World War II, Korean, Vietnam, and Operation Iraqi Freedom/ Afghanistan Wars. 200 North 200 East, Cedar City.
3 Downtown Farmers Market
Local farmers, artisan food producers, artists
andcraftersconvergeonthedowntownevery Wednesday (June–October) in an open air market celebrating everything local.
4 Park Discovery
An interactive play structure built from the
design concepts of local children. Park Discovery has towers, mazes, slides, dinosaur digs,

5 Navajo Lake Area
Stop at the Zion Overlook, hike the Bristlecone
Pine trail (1⁄2-mile) or Cascade Falls trail (1- mile); mountain bike the Navajo Lake Loop trail (12-miles); fish at Navajo Lake, Duck Creek, and Aspen Mirror Lake; and explore Mammoth Cave.
6 Parowan Historic Museums
Parowan is southern Utah’s original settlement. Check out the Old Rock Church Museum, the Jesse N. Smith pioneer home, Dr. Meeks cabin and urban fishery, the Parowan Heritage Park, and the cemetery. 73 North Main Street, 435-477-8190.
