Symphony of the Canyons

The Symphony of the Canyons is a collection of local musicians who create enchanting music against the magnificent red rock. The Symphony provides exposure to classical and pop music in one of the most isolated parts of the country. They interpret Bach to the Beatles in settings from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to the Kanab High School auditorium and the downtown Gazebo.

The Crescent Moon Theater is home to film classics, a showcase for local talent, and the site of performances by some of the top performers in the region. Since it’s opening, The Crescent Moon has provided musical entertainment, cowboy poetry, talent shows, theater and dance productions, and film events.

Home of The Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts. For over 50 years, Maynard Dixon painted the life and landscape of the American West. In 1939, Dixon and his wife, Edith Hamlin, made their summer home in Mt. Carmel, UT. Tours from March–November. Reservations only.

Located on the properties of Parry Lodge. Converted to a theater in 1970, the Barn has become the delight of visitors to Kanab. Theater currently shows western films filmed in Kanab from April to October.
