Come join us as we visit great places; places that have always been on your 'bucket list", places where you have an opportunity to capture amazing images of the natural beauty of New Zealand. You'll also create a lifetime of memories whilst enjoying the company of some wonderful #foodiephotographybuddies.
Our "foodie and photography tours" are small, completely inclusive and designed to highlight each of the area's beauty and uniqueness.
We operate on a “keep it local” philosophy - we are kiwi owned and opera- ted and we support both local and New Zealand suppliers. We buy local produce and we stay at New Zealand owned quality accommodation.
Our tours are bespoke, developed by our wonderful House of Travel’s Pam Young. The tours always include at least one awesome highlight, for example; a helicopter or aeroplane scenic flight, a boat trip or a 4 wheel drive trek.
Of course, we must mention there is always some type of retail therapy, such as visiting local markets, artisans, artists, ceramic artists, private gardens, knitters, tiny museums or local farmer's markets..
On most tours, Jo leads a cooking class utilising locally sourced and New Zealand made ingredients which follows our philisophy of #keepingitlocal.
Whilst Lesley, your photographer mentor will provide you coaching and tips on capturing amazing images on either your smart phone or camera.
COME JOIN US - all you need to do is pack your bag, bring your camera or smart phone, everything else is provided except the occasional cup of coffee. Don't forget to bring your credit card for the retail therapy. It's well known that the luggage compartment of the coach had to be rearranged many times to be able to take everyone's purchases!
