i, Hello!! Welcome to Skule Nite 2T0!! I hope you enjoy the show as much as I enjoyed going into work late to make it happen!
I’d like to thank Jenny & Julia for trusting me with their vision of the show, dealing with my horrible creative ideas and letting me reorganize our Google Drive into the masterpiece that it is. Jon for keeping me in check and making my caffeine problem seem insignificant compared to his.
It’s easy for me to get lost in the logistics and forget about the purpose of the show. Thanks to the incredible creative team, crew, cast, band and fossils, that was not the case. This group of people who boldly pursue their version of the arts reminds me of my own.
Through them, I’ve realized what an accomplishment it is for this show to be running for almost 100 years. How? You’d think I have an answer to that after producing it. Nope, I’m just as clueless as you.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have 4 more days of only talking about Skule Nite to take advantage of!
As a clueless volunteer, I was told to cut out one thousand cardboard triangles for a godzilla costume. That was five years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since This show has been my favourite part of SkuleTM and it has been a privilege to spend my final year of it working alongside Jenny, Seif, and Julia to make it happen.
Skule Nite means different things to everyone
involved. For me, it has always been about the
people I meet through it. Coming from the notoriously small MSE department, this show broadens my traditionally narrow sphere of interaction and has introduced me to countless unique and inspirational individuals that I otherwise never would have met.
For all the students reading this blurb, there is a place for everyone in Skule Nite and I hope you all reach out to get involved in next year’s 100th anniversary of the show.
