However, they are captured once again by Florenzo and his men, and reunited with Maggie’s father, and finally Maggie learns the truth: Florenzo’s sister, Elizabeth, was Victor Frankenstein’s adopted sister, and he blames the monster for her death.
Florenzo threatens them all with death, when the mon- ster – Kata’s father – appears at last.A great struggle ensues – Kata rescues Maggie, and the monster saves them both from Florenzo, killing himself and Florenzo in the process.
Maggie and Kata, safe at last, find refuge with the friends they met on the Underground Railroad, and start a new life together with their new family.
