Home Life
Many ancient Romans live in simple buildings called insulae. Poorer families live at the top of the building and richer families live closer to the ground floor, where merchants run businesses.
Very rich families do not have to live in the busy insulae and instead own large villas, where they throw fancy parties and have up to four rooms for eating in!
