Bring in your bear to illustrate or choose from one at the museum, then create a series of bear studies using drawing pens and watercolour washes.
Week 2: 6 August
Animate bears
Learn how to make a thaumotrope to animate your bear and create flipbooks to take home.
Week 3: 13 August
Making a scene
Where does your bear live? At home, in the woods, under the bed? Transform a box into a scene for your bear to live. Light it at the end and have a photo taken of your bear’s world. (Storytelling and 3D making)
Week 4: 20 August
Who, What, Where?
Create a short illustrated storybook to take home.
Week 5: 27 August
Bear express
Come and learn how to draw different expressions for your bear.
