What will I learn?
3.1 million people are currently employed in tourism in the UK and the industry is worth £126.9bn! Our course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful employee within this dynamic industry.
The course consists of a variety of modules which provide you with an overview of
the different sectors of the industry, such as holiday reps, marketing, events, retail, worldwide destinations, business, current issues and specialist tourism.
You will also get an additional, recognised qualification in airline cabin crew as well as certificated first aid and safety training, completed in the Thomas Cook airline training facility in Manchester.
Also on offer is our very own travel agency ‘The Travel Pod’, run in
association with Hays Travel. You will have the fantastic opportunity to work in a customer facing environment whilst gaining recognised retail industry qualifications!
You will be required to purchase and wear a uniform (cabin crew style), and as educational trips are essential to expand
your understanding of the industry, an initial payment will be needed at the beginning of your course for mandatory activities.
