As a student at Runshaw College, you are at the heart of everything we do. We will endeavour to ensure that you are happy and fulfilled during your time at the college, and that you reach your potential and acquire the skills that will equip you to achieve your goals and ambitions.

We believe this comes from the friendly and respectful relationships which exist between staff and students, creating a college community where each person is valued and can flourish.
We are proud of our reputation and popularity. The successes of our students over the years have led to widespread national recognition.
In our most recent inspection, Ofsted judged us to be ‘Outstanding’ in every respect; a wonderful tribute to the staff and students who make up the Runshaw learning community.
We have also worked very hard to make sure that you have the facilities you deserve. In recent years, we have invested over £20m upgrading college resources, including:
• a new student restaurant and two new coffee shops
• two new Study Zones
• a new library
• a full size 3-G sports pitch
• new teaching blocks for sport and ICT • new science laboratories
• improved music, drama and performing
arts facilities
• new language laboratories
• The Arena – an outdoor performance area • a new pastoral care centre to support all of
our sixth form college students
