The course is a technical, work-related course designed for those wishing to learn how to be professionals in the computing industry. You will complete projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations and business scenarios.

of computing, and you will need to understand concepts and number systems, whilst a keen interest in technology outside of the classroom
is absolutely essential too. •
Please note that if you want to progress onto • Games Development, Computer Science, • Software Engineering/Development or • Programming degrees, you will normally need • GCSE grade 5 or equivalent in Maths. •
How will I be assessed?
The course is delivered as a combination of theory and practical, and you will be assessed through both a portfolio and external assessment for core units set by the exam board.
Internal assessments use a wide variety of methods including presentations, reports, posters, podcasts, role-plays and interactive quizzes.
