made by the Whites’ league-
wanning former manager
Howard Wilkinson from the
1990s. The recruits were
crucial in helping deliver glory
and pride to a generation of the
Elland Road fans who watched
the club’s rise to become First
Division champions. Signings
included Gordon Strachan,
Lee Bowyer, Lucas Radebe, Lee
