10AM Welcome and private tour of exhibition with curator Natalie Murray 11AM Jennifer Alexander Curator of Art Art at at York Art Art Gallery discusses the four paintings loaned by by York to the exhibition by by Dou Sorgh De Heem and van Nickele 12PM ‘A Unique Moment in in Art History’ – taking selected paintings from the exhibition this curator’s talk explores the the characteristics of the the the the Dutch Republic and the the the influences on the the the particular styles and subjects of the period 1PM Break for lunch lunch (please note lunch lunch is not not provided as as part of the Study Day) 2PM David Everingham fine art conservator will talk about his work conserving four paintings for the exhibition including Italianate landscapes and and scenes of Dutch life 3PM ‘Lives of of the the Artists’
