What can you do during your Tenure of Service as a Titleholder to impact your community? I would visit local children’s homes / orphanages in my area and challenge other Title holders to do the same and help in my campaign to assure children who would not have Christmas have the light of Christmas in their lives . I would host pageants and other Benefits . , By representing my title in a kind and respectful manner and being a role model for others .
What has been your involvement with your platform, including time commitment strategic planning and ways your ingenuity and resourcefulness have been demonstrated. In the past 3 years I have collected toys for those who are less fortunate and could not afford it . Just this past year I had an overwhelming response from parents and grandparents who needed help so I made sure that each one received gifts by dividing what I had and collecting more and more items .
What inspired you to first become involved with your platform? I saw firsthand through school , activities and friends , children who received nothing for Christmas making them feel like they didn’t deserve anything and would go through depression so I felt like I wanted to make a difference By trying to make an impact on their lives I felt like I needed to make them feel good about themselves and smile .
“Besides the opportunity to win scholarships, what made you choose to participate in the Miss Volunteer America program?” I felt like it was an interesting avenue for me to compete and be apart of a good organization in hopes to win a title that I can be proud of and help to promote my platform .
“How would you utilize social media in order to further the position and job of Miss Volunteer America?” I would utilize social media by upholding my title respectively and sincerely at all times while sharing my events publicly by representing my platform while helping others . I will create new ways for fundraisers All while recording and going live through out all of my fundraising efforts and continue to broadcast while representing my title . In return I hope to broaden my help with Toys for Tots . I will show my Thankfulness for any and all support that I receive .
