Education: Sophomore at Huntingdon High School
Education & Professional Objective: My plan is to acquire a cosmetology license by my senior year of high school, by attending TCAT. After graduating high school, I will work towards obtaining a degree in Dental Hygiene.
Honors & Achievements: I am honored to have been crowned as the first ever Miss Carroll County Iris Teen. While holding this title, I represented Carroll County in the Christmas Parade. Another achievement of mine was making the soccer team. This was our high school’s first ever girls’ soccer team. While on that team, I was one of the top fundraisers. Along with soccer, I have maintained the honor roll.
Leadership Positions: I have taken the initiative to spend my spare time volunteering in my community. As Miss Carroll County Iris Teen, I have visited the nursing home, participated in food drives, and volunteered with Red Cross. I also spend time mentoring young children.
Employment Experience: To gain experience towards earning a cosmetology license, I volunteer at a local beauty shop after school. I also spent my entire spring break babysitting.
Special Skills & Activities: I love animals! I spent my last birthday rescuing a momma dog and her two puppies. I also rescued two other strays. With the help of a local animal rescue group, they all found great homes. I also enjoy playing soccer, making new friends, participating in pageants, cooking, and volunteering in my community.
