What can you do during your Tenure of Service as a Titleholder to impact your community?
During my tenure as a title holder of Miss Tennessee Iris Teen Volunteer, I would be as involved as possible in my community performing various acts of community service and reaching out to as many you girls and boys as possible to promote my platform, “It’s Okay..”. I believe it is important to reach out to kids in my generation to help make changes that are vital to our generation. Kids, and adults, today need to know it is okay to not be okay and getting help is the first step. I want to use this title to show young girls that just because I may wear a pretty crown and dress, it doesn’t mean everything is perfect and that it is okay for it not to be perfect that what matters is what you do to help better yourself and become comfortable in your own skin.
