Platform: The name of my platform is Connecting Generations. With my platform I try to get kids my age and younger to be more active in the nursing homes and assisted living facilities in our towns. I have a program set up where kids from highschool age to elementary can have a "pen pal" with a resident at the homes. I want to bring light to all nursing homes and show that they are people too and they want the have fun and talk to people just as we do.

My most valued role model is my grandfather. He has been my father figure since I was born and he has always been there for me no matter what. He gives the best advice on anything I ask him, he's always able to fix anything I break, and he is has the biggest heart I've ever seen.

The best advice that I have ever received is that not everything will go as you plan but that doesn't mean you can't make the best out of the situation. I am a planner I like to know every little detail and go by a schedule. That doesn't always happen and I've come to realize that when it didn't go by a plan I have the best time!

The best compliment I have ever received is that I am mature for my age. For all of my friends and family I am the "mom" of everyone. I like to go out and have fun and be my age but I am also a mom while I do it. When I talk to meet older people they always think I am older than my real age and I take that as a huge compliment!
