What can you do during your Tenure of Service as a Titleholder to impact your community?
With my platform Rori’s Random Acts of Kindness, I have made a plan to have a year filled with acts of kindness, fill care packages for our United States military, and do Penpals to write letters to our Veterans.
What has been your involvement with your platform?
Over my time with my platform, I have donated toys to the Salvation Army Angel Tree, Opera tion Home Front, worked with Wreaths Across America, and brought gifts of gratitude to my Doctors who helped me after having ankle surgery this past summer.
What inspired you to first become involved in your platform?
After my father was hurt while in the service, I grew up aware of how serious mental illness is. I found that you never know what someone is going through at home, and even a small act of kindness can encourage the to keep going, and help them know that no matter what they aren’t alone.
If you are selected as the winner, how would you mobilize and market your plat form nationally?
If selected as the winner, I would love to partner with other queens, have important guests on live events, and work with other organizations such as Best Buddies and The Girl Scouts to spread awareness to mental health.
How would you utilize social media in order to positively further your position as a titleholder if you are selected as the winner?
I would use our biggest social media, Instagram and TikTok, to host challenges with our title holders to promote and spread kindness, and hopefully create an in public event as well to host with our queens!
