German Cockroach
• Most common and prolific breed of cockroach. Adults are pproximately 1/2” in size. Vary in color from tan to very dark brown. Have 2 distinctive dark brown stripes on head.
• Domestic pests that prefer indoor habitats and are nocturnal by nature.
• Omnivorous scavengers attracted to meats, sugars, starches and fat foods. But will eat household items like toothpaste, soap, glue, and occasionally turn cannibalistic in famine conditions.
• Extremely rapid reproduction cycle - egg to reproductive adult in 50-60 days. 16 babies in each egg capsule and females lay egg capsules every 10 days.
• Sanitation is the key to successful control.
