A comprehensive welfare reform plan requiring work in in exchang for for time-limited assistance The act created fixed block grants for state- designed programs making welfare a a a a a transition to work After 24 months of assistance individuals must participate in in employment on-the-job training work experience community service or or 12 months of vocational training The act provided hiring incentives for potential employers The Welfare to Work Work program became a a a a a Workforce Initiatives (then identified as Government Programs) CVS Health® designated department to carry out the company’s hiring commitment as a a a a a partner in the 1996 federal welfare reform efforts The Welfare Reform Act
