California Proposition 65
All of BIC Graphic’s imprint inks have been tested and found to comply with
Prop 65 and CPSIA. All of BIC Graphic’s Child Products have been tested and found to comply with Prop 65 and CPSIA. Nearly all of BIC Graphic’s product SKUs are Prop 65 compliant meaning they do not require a Prop 65 label when shipping to California (excluding lead crystal products and a select few awards). Please contact BIC Graphic if you need a list of these SKUs. BIC Graphic will add a Prop 65 label to these SKUs free of charge if they have a Ship To address in California.
CPSIA
BIC Graphic products are designed, intended and offered for sale as promotional products for corporate and business uses for advertising and promotional purposes. As such, they are “general use” products.
Certain products in this catalog may have a note stating that the product is CPSIA- compliant. Only products with this note are Children’s Products under the CPSIA. All other products are for adult or general purpose use. Visit bicgraphic.com and look for CPSIA under “Tools and Resources” for Certificates of Compliance and General Conformity Certificates.

Policy on Reference to Marijuana in Art
BIC Graphic only accepts orders for BIC Graphic products with decorations that include references to marijuana if the order is to promote a business or event located in a state or country where the sale of marijuana is permitted by national, provincial, state or district law. BIC Graphic reserves the right to accept or decline orders in its discretion where those orders are not consistent with or covered by this policy. BIC Graphic neither endorses nor opposes the lawful use of marijuana.

SCREEN PRINTING
Match Trim Color
For most Writing Instruments, stock imprint colors have been developed to match the trim colors or to complement cap or barrel colors. Simply request a “match trim” imprint.
Non-Standard Imprint Color Matching
See page 777 for non-standard imprint color matching.
Registered Imprint Location
The imprint location on BIC ® Clic Stic® pens may vary slightly with a one-color imprint only. A positioned one-color imprint location is available upon request for an additional charge of $0.16(c) per pen.
Minimum Line Weights & Type Sizes
Minimum line weight is .5 at final imprint size. Minimum point size for copy is 6 point.
LASER ENGRAVING
Writing Instruments include 1 line of laser engraved repeating copy or personalization (up to 25 characters), (except Y214, Y215 and WBMET). Add $0.79(g) per pen for second location or personalization. Add $0.26(c) per pen for oxidation. Optional 330o laser engraving is available on BIC Select TM Writing Instruments (except WBMET). Set-up charge is $65.50(g) per order. Add $0.79(g) running charge per pen.
IMPRINT COLOR CHANGE
FREE! Imprint color changes are available for all Writing Instruments; catalog minimums apply per imprint color change. Logo imprint and location must remain the same.
LAYOUT—BIC® WRITING INSTRUMENTS
For stick pens and retractables, the imprint layout will be right-handed. For two- piece writing instruments, the imprint/engraving will be horizontal and will use Layout A, unless otherwise specified.
