(GUS tosses the SHOTGUN to LEVI who then pats GUS on the back as he takes a seat at the table. He slips the SHOTGUN back in its holster under his jacket)

All the horses are stored in real tight. Made sure they got
water and food. They should be safe until this storm pass.
(GRANT walks over near BASS by the bar. They share a look)
GUS
I met your big white horse out back? Its a beautiful horse.
BASS
You met Blaze.
GUS
Blazeeeeee! If I was to ever get another horse I'm going to
name him Blaze. You don’t mind do you? As soon as we get to Mexico I'm going to see about getting a new horse. I’ve had Pedro for some time now but he’s just ain’t riding the way he used to. I dont know if its `cause he’s getting old or he’s just plain tired of carry’n me around.
(GUS laughs as BASS looks on)
BASS You like ole Blaze do you.
GUS
She’s pretty. Big white horse. Real pretty. Frank think she’s
pretty too.
BASS
If you think SHE’S pretty... you should see my dog.
GUS
YOU GOT A DOG?
BASS
Damn right I got a dog... named DOG!
SILAS Your dog name is Dog?
BASS What else would it be?
