(BASS tosses away TWO CARDS as SILAS deals him two new ones)
LEVI
The mother went out of the house and responded with another
whistle. Two men on horses ride up to the front porch. She introduces the boys to the lawman. They agreed to become a gang. Later, that night while sleeping in the same room. When they closed their eyes the lawman cuffed them. Sunrise came - rooster crowed - he kicked that bad so hard both men fell on the floor hoot’n and holler’n full of fright. Picked them up - walked them out the door with guns pointed to the back of their heads.
(BASS and LEVI Laugh)

I heard about that. Say their mother followed them for damn
near three miles cursing and screaming every step of the way.
