Blood... splatters all over the wall. Baby drops to the floor
- crying.
(GUS looks on - then slowly takes the GUN from LEVI’S hand and the HAT from his head - moves backwards out of the SPOTLIGHT. LEVI in a mellow whispering tone - speaks)
LEVI
Husband slowly leans his head back. Dies. Wife screams. Baby
cries. BABY CRIES.... BABYYYYY...
(LIGHT RISES on GUS on the PLATFORM)
GUS
(Screams) LEVIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!
(GUS
LEVI I told Gus to toss that gun
(GUS
waves for LEVI to hurry)
and hat as far as he could. tosses the GUN and HAT)
LEVI And we jumped off that train.
(GUS runs down the STAIRS towards LEVI)
LEVI And we started running.
(GUS runs up on side of LEVI)
LEVI
And Running! And Running! And Running!
(They both are running in unison super fast)
LEVI/GUS Running! Running! Running!
