it’s a unique opportunity for companies who believe in

leadership, please consider becoming a sponsor. Your
support helps elevate not only the event but the level
of knowledge and professionalism across our entire
industry.
Vision for Q4 and Beyond: Diverse, Strategic,
and Member-Informed
Looking to Q4 and 2026, our vision is to offer
programming that reflects the full spectrum of our
membership: from builders and remodelers to
associates and trades. We are exploring:
y Continuing Education for the Trades – focusing
on installation accuracy, inspection readiness,
and safety.
y Sales & Marketing Strategies – equipping your
teams with tools to close more deals and enhance
brand value.
y ABCs of Homebuilding 10 – a series tailored
for newcomers and junior staff to understand the
lifecycle of home construction.
y Land Development Best Practices – sessions
that demystify permitting, planning, and cost-
saving strategies.
y Technology & Innovation – tools that are
reshaping the way we build and sell homes.
But here’s the truth: the most powerful driver of this
program is you. Your feedback, ideas, and participation
shape the sessions we host. Whether you're a builder
looking to improve your punch list process or an
associate wanting deeper product knowledge shared,
your voice matters.
Why It Matters: Education as Workforce
Development and Industry Reputation
Investing in education is not just about today, it’s
about building the workforce of tomorrow. GSABA
supports NAHB Student Chapters, workforce
development initiatives, and scholarship programs
through the Greater San Antonio Education Foundation
(GSAEF). By building a culture that values learning,
we’re also building a pipeline of skilled, motivated
talent for our industry.
We all know the workforce challenges that loom,
labor shortages, skill gaps, and generational turnover.
But education is the antidote. Whether it’s a trade
school graduate stepping onto the jobsite or a seasoned
professional needing code updates, we must be ready
to teach, learn, and adapt.
Moreover, a well-educated workforce enhances
our industry’s public perception. It builds trust with
homeowners, policymakers, and the communities
we serve.
Your Role in the Future of GSABA Education
If you’ve attended a session this year, thank you!
If you’ve shared your ideas for future training, keep
them coming! But if you’ve yet to engage, let this be
your invitation.
Support the program. Bring your team. Offer your
insight. Sponsor a session. Mentor a student. We need
your participation not just to sustain this program and
more importantly, to grow it.
In fact, we’re taking the next step to formalize that
input by launching a GSABA Education Committee,
which will begin meeting quarterly. This committee will
serve as an advisory group made up of members from
across the industry: builders, trades and associates,
who are passionate about professional development.
The committee’s role will be to help shape the direction
of our programming by identifying relevant training
topics, evaluating past sessions, and ensuring we’re
staying ahead of industry trends.
If you’ve ever had a great idea for a speaker, wished
we offered more training for your area of expertise,
or want to influence how we’re preparing the next
generation of professionals: this is your opportunity!
Your perspective will help us make sure our offerings
are not just useful, but indispensable.
We’re not just training for today; we’re preparing
for what’s next. Let’s build a future where every crew
member feels confident, every project is built to code,
and every GSABA member sees continuing education
not as an obligation, but as an advantage.
Together, we are laying the foundation for a smarter,
stronger, more resilient homebuilding community in
San Antonio and beyond.
Let’s keep building.
