A GRATEFUL HEART: REFLECTING ON NAHB’S 2024 LOCAL EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF THE YEAR AWARD
I am truly honored to have been selected as the recipient of NAHB’s 2024 Local Executive Officer of the Year Award. This recognition is not only a personal milestone but also a testament to the support and dedication of my colleagues and the incredible members of our association. Winning this award from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) fills me with gratitude and pride.
Over the years, my commitment to the Federation has deepened as I’ve witnessed the remarkable resilience and hard work of our members. It has been a privilege to serve in a role that allows me to advocate for local builders and our community. The relationships I have built and the collaboration I have experienced have been invaluable. This award reflects our collective efforts and the strength of our team.
I have always believed that effective leadership is rooted in listening to the needs of our members. By fostering an open dialogue and encouraging feedback, we have been able to address pressing issues and implement meaningful changes that benefit all. I am deeply proud of what we have accomplished together, from enhancing member services to promoting initiatives that encourage growth and sustainability in the building industry.
I’d like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the NAHB senior leadership and staff for their unwavering support. This award carries immense weight and signifies the importance of our shared mission. I am especially thankful to the GSABA leadership team who consistently go above and beyond, demonstrating their passion for our work and dedication to our members. Your hard work makes every achievement possible.
