CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE:
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE 2025
SUMMIT AWARDS & EXCITING
FALL EVENTS
On August 7th, we gathered for one of the most anticipated evenings of
the year—the 2025 Summit Awards. This year’s event was a strong reflection
of the dedication and talent within our organization. A total of 38 companies
participated, with 12 distinguished as Summit Stars for submitting more
than 10 entries each. Together, they contributed an impressive 297 entries,
making this a competitive year.
The evening was filled with celebration and camaraderie. From recognizing
the exceptional talent of our members, to enjoying the dance and costume
competition, to engaging in our popular raffle or wine-and-whiskey pull
hosted by the Professional Women in Building Committee, the night truly
captured the spirit of our industry. With 425 RSVPs, the ballroom was full of
energy, excitement, and pride in what we’ve accomplished together.
A special congratulations to our Grand Award winners:
y Grand Award, Developer: Emerald Townes by Sitterle Homes
y Grand Award, Associate: The Schrader Group
y Grand Award, Volume Builder: Ashton Woods Homes
y Grand Award, Custom Builder: Todd Glowka Builder, Inc.
When companies submit entries, we truly see talent that embodies
the innovation, craftsmanship, and dedication that define our industry—
something to be proud of. I also extend gratitude to the sponsors, volunteers,
participants, and everyone who submitted an entry or attended—your support
and involvement made the Summit Awards possible.
Our enthusiasm continued with the Sporting Clay Shoot on August
21st. This year’s demand was so great that we opened a third course
to accommodate more participants—and even then, we maintained a
waitlist. This speaks volumes about the excitement and fellowship within
our association.
As president, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of showing
up—whether it’s an awards program, an education course, a mixer, or a
volunteer opportunity. These gatherings are not just about recognition;
they are about building connections, strengthening our community, and
fostering growth. When you attend, sponsor, or volunteer, you are investing
in the future of our industry.
We have several upcoming events that will give you an opportunity
to get engaged. Please mark your calendars and make plans to join us:

encourage each of you to continue to participate.
Together, we are shaping not only the success of
our businesses but the strength of our community.
Sincerely,
Jeff Kuwamura
