ANNOUNCING THE 2024 PARADE OF HOMES IN ENCHANTED BLUFF IN THE GARDEN RIDGE AREA
We are thrilled to announce that the 2024 Parade of Homes will be held in Bitterblue’s newest community Enchanted Bluff in the Garden Ridge area. Laddie Denton and his team have an incredible site with one acre+- lots in a gated community. The GSABA leadership team is excited to work with Laddie and Bitterblue to bring you an incredible tour of custom luxury homes.
Next year, we will team up with the Greater New Braunfels Home Builders Association to host the Parade of Homes and once again Security Service Federal Credit Union will be our Presenting Partner. We will have a Fall Parade of Homes and will kick off our single site parade on Saturday, November 2nd! The Preview Party will be held on Friday, November 1st on site. I am looking forward to having the Parade when the weather is cooler outside, and we are planning several special events. The North Park Family of Dealers will be a big part of the Parade again in 2024!
We want to invite you to advertise in our award-winning Parade Style Magazine. We have exhibit booths available, and we expect a great turnout. Please call me if you have an interest in building in the 2024 Parade of Homes and we will get you all the information that you need. The lot draw will take place on Tuesday, September 12th at GSABA at 10am sharp (RSVPs are required. Call 210-696-3800 to RSVP! There is more information on the 2024 Parade of Homes on page 11 of this issue of the Builder Brief. Stay tuned for news on the 2025 Parade of Homes too!
We have some great events coming up that I want to invite you to be part of. We are headed to Port Aransas on Friday, September 15th to kick off the 2023 Fishing Tournament. We have 60 boat entries and expect a full house at the Captains Dinner on Friday night before the Saturday tournament.
Mark your calendars for the StrucSure ProAm Golf Tournament on Monday, September 25th at Canyon Springs Golf Club. Our Chairs, Scott Whisenant and Grant Dodson are working hard to bring you an incredible event with Golf Pros from the greater San Antonio area. We will tee off a little earlier this year so bring your appetite for breakfast and stay for lunch after the

tournament. We are serving a feast with fried chicken with all the fixings and pork tenderloin too! Canyon Springs operates on water wells and the golf course is in great shape!
The 3PAC Fundraising event will be held on Thursday, October 12th at the San Antonio Gun Club. More information can be found in Shad’s articleandonpage18. Ireallycan’tstressenough how important this event is. With your help the last three years, we have raised significant personal funds to support pro-housing incumbents and candidates, many of whom will be in attendance. Black Tie Catering will be providing an incredible menu and we will have top shelf bourbon and tequila tastings after the clay shoot is over!
We will round out October with the Chili Cook-Off on Thursday, October 19th at GSABA. The Young Professionals Leadership Council (YPLC) chaired by Jorge Flores and Jimmy Clanton will host this fun event. Weyerhaeuser will be hosting the corn hole tournament, so bring your team and join us for a family-friendly event.
