THE VISION
Our vision for our home was shaped around the theme of “coming home.” The Johanna is named after a character in the Tom Hanks movie “News of the World,” which revolves around bringing home the character Johanna to her family in Castroville, TX. Our goal with the Johanna house was to create a home that caters to the needs of
a family looking to grow roots in the close Castroville community. This home has a warm and open floor plan with high ceilings, and plenty of space to host friends and family, including a covered outdoor patio area with the option of bringing the outside in with large sliding glass doors. For the Parade of HomesTM we upgraded the 4th bedroom to be used as a game/media room with surround sound speakers and a bar area. We hope this house inspires many to see Country Village Estates in Castroville as a place to “come home.”
