NATIONAL HOUSING CENTER OPENS
NOMINATIONS FOR 2026 AWARDS
The National Housing Center Board of Governors is
seeking nominations for NAHB’s two highest honors:
Membership in the National Housing Hall of Fame
and the Exemplary Service in Home Building award.
The National Housing Hall of Fame was established in
1976 to recognize those individuals whose spirit, ingenuity
and determination have changed the face of housing
for the better, making America one of the best-housed
nations in the world.
The Exemplary Service in Home Building award
recognizes individuals for outstanding and commendable
accomplishments in service to the housing industry.
The first National Housing Hall of Fame induction
ceremony was held in May 1977. Since then, more than
200 individuals have been elected.
Nominations for the 2026 Induction Ceremony may
be submitted by an NAHB member or local home builder
association. You can learn more about the awards and
access the nomination form on the National Housing Hall
of Fame webpage at www.nahb.org/nahb-community/
awards/national-housing-hall-of-fame.
Nominations must be submitted by Oct. 17, 2025.
