The Glitz. The Glamour. The Prestige. The Summit Awards is all these things and more. Established in 1985 by the Greater San Antonio Builders Association (GSABA) in recognition of sales and marketing excellence, the prestigious Summit Award is given to builders, remodelers, developers, and associates who have achieved excellence in the home building industry each year.
The Summit Awards is the Oscars® of the San Antonio Building industry. It’s where the cream rises to the top and the who’s who of some of the most renowned home builders and other industry giants come together to see who will take home the top honors in more than 100 categories.
This year, more than 280 entries were received and it’s no surprise the judges were blown away by what they saw. The competition is fierce and those who submitted their entries are in it to win it and it shows. Each judge, selected from outside the San Antonio market with expertise in architecture, interior design, home building and sales and marketing, reviewed each entry meticulously and objectively. While not everyone can be a winner, everyone should be proud to have had their work considered by a colleague who has the level of expertise and keen eye as those of our 2024 Summit Awards judges.
The annual Summit Awards is a member favorite — even for those who are not anticipating an award. Being a part of the Greater San Antonio Builders Association is like being part of a family — a family that supports each other. Seeing your friends and “family” excel and achieve their dreams gives us all a sense of satisfaction and joy that is infectious and motivating. Supporting our colleagues helps build true relationships that permeate throughout our careers as we develop a network that supports and breeds our success. The air at the Summit Awards is filled with this feeling of awe and inspiration that one can’t help but want to be a part of it.
