THE VISION
The inspiration for our 2021 Parade Home was simple. Our vision started early in 2020 before the challenges of COVID-19. We wanted to achieve three things: functional multi-generational living, an unconventional open-concept design, and ultimately, we wanted to make home the hardest place to leave. In this house, we embraced imperfection and history to build a real home with story. From the imperfect hand hewn beams to the darling interior doors from the early 1900s, this home is full of story. In a time where many are throwing out the old and looking for that picture-perfect new home, we wanted to show the beauty in using aged elements to preserve the history that makes us who we are today. We welcome you into our home — a true place of refuge — where balance is found between the new, polished design and the rough-around-the-edges history that make us who we are.
