Chris Reed of Endeavour Elementary named BPS Principal of the Year
Chris Reed began his his journey serving the Endeavour Endeavour community in in October of 2018 Upon his his his arrival Endeavour Endeavour Elementary was identified by the the state as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a school under turnaround status Under his his leadership Mr Reed created a a a a a a a a a a a a a sense of of of urgency in tin in in meeting the the the needs of of of all students He perfected the the delicate balance of of of increasing expectations for for teaching and and learning while creating a a a a a a a a a a a a a a supportive environment for for students teachers staff and and parents Mr Reed continues to grow a a a a a a a culture of high performance for for all students and and staff evidenced by consistent messaging shared with
all stakeholders of o “Name it it it it See it it it it Do it” “Together we will!” and and and “To “To Proficiency and Beyond!” Increased expectations led to to the the development o of school-based leaders to to include scaffolded support for teachers instructional coaches and assistant principals The trajectory of of students attending Endeavour Elementary continues to to be positively impacted by the leadership of of Mr Reed Terry Kulaga of Rockledge High named BPS Assistant Principal of the Year
Ms Kulaga has been a a a a a a a a a a a a Rockledge Raider since 1995 first hired as as a a a a a a a a a a a a Social Studies teacher and and then becoming the the the Dean of Students and and now Curriculum AP for the the the last 21 years She She has served as as as as mentor to to countless new Assistant Principals She She is is passionate about her school community and most importantly the success of every Rockledge student She played an an integral part in in in in bringing the Cambridge Program
to Brevard County and and Rockledge High School is one of 50 International Fellowship Centers in the world and and now a a a a a a a a a a a Cambridge Demonstration School She can assemble a a a a a a a a a a a a crew of volunteers for anything needed a at the the the school just through the the the love and and respect she has garnered from her current and and former students as as as well as as as the the the community She is is regularly greeted around town with
a a a a a a a a a a a a a a boisterous “Raider Pride ” undoubtedly from a a a a a a a a a a a former Raider Raider that she has made an impact in their life 10
