3R tips for Back to School
Before heading to the store:
 Reuse what you can use from previous years
 Turn old notebooks into scratch pads
 Upcycle materials by making your own book covers from
paper bags or wrapping paper
 Use cans and cereal boxes for locker organizers Before shopping, make a list of only things you need! Once at the store:
 Buy only what is on your list
 Buy re llable items if possible
 Buy items made from recycled materials
 Look for items with li le or no packaging
 Buy durable items that can last the whole school year
 Purchase reusable lunch containers and bo les
 Bring reusable bags to take your items home
